Important Notes

Please take note of the following important points:

  • A small amount of powder naturally appears on the surface, which is NOT a quality problem.

  • Avoid soaking in water or pouring a large amount of water on the product, as it may cause deterioration and warping.

  • Drying in direct sunlight or with a heater is NOT recommended. Using it over a floor heating system may cause warping or cracking.

  • Use the mat on a flat floor. Applying excessive pressure or using it on a soft or highly cushioned surface may lead to cracking.

  • Avoid detergents containing surfactants, as they may clog the surface.

  • If the mat absorbs colored water, it may retain a stain.

Dual-Sided Functionality

  • Dive into a transformative experience with MATgic's two distinct sides:

  • Normal Surface: Features an elegant marble print designed for aesthetic appeal and exceptional water absorption.

  • Exfoliating Surface: Turn your bath routine into a spa-like experience with gentle exfoliation for your feet, invigorating your senses, and helping to promote healthier skin.

  • Switching between the two sides depends on your preference and the experience you wish to achieve on any given day.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures your MATgic Stone Mat remains in pristine condition:

  • Before initial use, wipe off any surface powder with a wet towel. Allow it to air out in a well-ventilated area for 2-3 days to eliminate any transportation odors.

  • Periodically, especially in humid conditions, dry the mat in a well-ventilated space. We recommend every 7-10 days in summer and 3-4 days in winter. After use, store it in a stable position.

  • To clean surface stains, use the provided sandpaper to gently brush the mat, then wipe it with a wet towel. Avoid sun drying and prolonged soaking in water.

  • With regular use, the mat's surface may become clogged, reducing water absorption. To restore absorption, lightly polish the mat with sandpaper.

  • Overdrying caused by rapid water absorption and evaporation (e.g., under heating or cooling systems) may lead to warping. To recover, rinse the mat for 10 seconds or, after a bath, turn it over and leave it on the floor overnight.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your MATgic Stone Mat, please refer to the following solutions:

  • Warped Mat: If the mat becomes warped, this may be due to excessive drying. To correct this, rinse the mat for 10 seconds or, after taking a bath, turn it over and leave it on the floor overnight. This should help it return to its original shape.

  • Reduced Absorption: Over time and with frequent use, the mat's pores may become clogged, leading to reduced water absorption. Lightly polish the surface with the provided sandpaper to restore its absorbent qualities.

  • Staining: If the mat has absorbed colored water or other liquids, it may retain a stain. While this won't affect the performance, if aesthetic is a concern, you can gently rub the stain with the provided sandpaper and wipe it clean with a wet towel.

  • Surface Powder: A light powder may naturally appear on the surface. This is a normal characteristic of diatomaceous earth and is not a quality issue. Simply wipe it off with a wet towel before use.
